The GEA BluGenium chiller functions as an indoor refrigeration solution with a compact design that uses the natural refrigerant ammonia (R717) and a reciprocating compressor. The product is delivered as a fully piped and wired system, enabling immediate installation and operation.
The BluGenium series represents an energy-efficient solution, leveraging GEA’s engineering expertise to optimize performance across all operating conditions. Whether running at full capacity or under part-load, it delivers exceptional performance, with a European Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (ESEER) exceeding 9 – significantly reducing energy costs and total cost of ownership (TCO).
The BluGenium product line includes seven model sizes, offering cooling capacities of up to 2,040 kW. The series integrates GEA Grasso V1400 and V1800 compressors to deliver high efficiency, environmental compliance, and extended operational reliability across a wide range of applications.
